Emilio Suarez is a versatile musician, composer, and educator based in Vancouver, BC. Originally from Calgary, he moved to Vancouver in 2015 to pursue his passion for music, earning a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies from Capilano University in 2020.

With over ten years of experience in live performance, Emilio believes that music should serve the moment and enhance the emotional landscape of any gathering.

His approach combines technical excellence with intuitive responsiveness to the energy and needs of each unique event.

Musical Style & Collaborations

Emilio's musical style spans jazz, bebop, contemporary, classical, and pop genres, making him uniquely adaptable to any event's atmosphere.

He has collaborated with various Vancouver artists, including KAIS, 45th Avenue Jazz Band, Ilhan Saferali, Noriko Jazz, and EITHER EITHER.

The Emilio Suarez Quartet features his original compositions that blend jazz and pop with a modern edge, creating sophisticated soundscapes that enhance any celebration.

His versatility is showcased in diverse projects, including his contribution as a cellist to Ness Nöst's EP "Working Hours."
